Endowments and Special Funds

The Odd Couple

Soulpepper's Endowment Fund stands at over $5M and is held by the Ontario Arts Foundation. Annual payouts support the company's ongoing operations, or can be directed to meet your interests and address Soulpepper's needs. Consider endowing an artistic fellowship or residency at Soulpepper; invest in the development of world classics or the enhancement of our education programs. Endowment gifts may be eligible for matching through federal and provincial programs and these gifts help to ensure the stability of the organization.

The Garland/Schultz Artistic Development Fund was established by founding Board Chair Roger Garland in 2007 with a lead challenge gift of $1 million dollars to recognize the extraordinary achievements of the company in its first decade of operations under the leadership of Founding Artistic Director Albert Schultz. The fund will support the expansion of Soulpepper's artistic vision by providing the means to invest in the key areas of Artistic Engagement, New Creation and Dissemination of Activities. It is targeted to reach two million dollars through a special matching campaign and will be distributed over the course of Soulpepper's second decade.
