Soulpepper’s work does not begin and end on the stage each night. It begins in the classrooms of our community, as Soulpepper nurtures a love of the arts. It continues in the rehearsal studios, as Soulpepper trains the artists of the future. Soulpepper strives to not only tell history’s great stories, but to use the stories we tell to positively affect the lives of young people in our community.
Soulpepper artists are integrated into the fabric of the company and the community. Though it may not be visible on stage every night, this is the Soulpepper difference, and it is our unique contribution to the cultural landscape in Canada.

Soulpepper Theatre Company is an artist-founded, classical repertory theatre company with a three-tiered mandate: to present the world's greatest stories in vital Canadian interpretations; to train a new generation of theatre artists; and to inspire and enrich youth through mentorship and access programs.
