Nicci Pryce (they/them) is a queer, Jamaican-Canadian artist who creates work as a writer, director, lyricist, and educator. An alumnus of Toronto Metropolitan University’s Media Production program, they successfully directed a 30 minute queer romantic comedy entitled, Bex Likes Frogs for their thesis. FOR SOULPEPPER: Intergalactic Rhymes of 2099 (2021) OTHER THEATRE: Three (2017), Macbeth (2018), Romeo & Juliet (2019), Crack in the Concrete Mixtape (2021). SHORT FILMS: Oh Bobby (2019), Toronto, My City (2020), Red Hood (2020), Bex Likes Frogs (2021). OTHER: This year, Nicci was honored to be invited to Montreal as a final candidate for the NTS Directing Program. Currently they are co-writing a rap musical, entitled The Djinn of the Lamp as part of Bad Hats Theatre New Bad Ideas Program.
