Ugochukwu Okoye was born and raised in Jos, Northcentral Nigeria. SOULPEPPER 2024: Three Sisters (Soulpepper Debut) OTHER: Ugochukwu is currently a Teaching Assistant and Doctoral candidate in Anthropology at Carleton University, Ottawa. He is an alumnus of both the University of Nigeria and the University of Edinburgh, and the co-author of the book"A Tale of Two Neighbours: A Sociopolitical History of Ukwa and Ngwa Nations", which was published in 2022.
