BIOGRAPHY

Jani Lauzon began her teaching career in the 1980’s as an instructor at the Claude Watson School for the Arts junior campus where she created and taught the Mime/Mask/Clown curriculum. In the early 2000’s she was the Artistic Director/Principal of the Centre for Indigenous Theatre, a three year acting conservatory program for people of Aboriginal ancestry. She has remained on the faculty teaching acting fundamentals, Shakespeare and Ensemble singing. She has also taught at Spirit Song, Humber College and will be heading to the National Theatre School in the spring of 2020.
