The Casey House is a specialty hospital in Toronto that provides ground-breaking care to people living with and at risk of HIV and AIDS, and in 1991 they had a historic visit from Diana, Princess of Wales.
Originally produced by the Stratford Festival, Casey and Diana by Nick Green is a beautifully gripping play that vividly captures a historic moment in time between caregivers, advocates, patients, and a princess. A moment that reshaped the course of the AIDS pandemic by providing hope, challenging stigmas, and uniting a community.
