Joanna Falck
Joanna Falck is a dramaturg and arts leader who has worked in Canadian theatre for more than twenty years.
She has served as Literary Associate at Soulpepper Theatre and Literary Manager at Tarragon Theatre and the Shaw Festival, where she collaborated with playwrights, directors, and theatre artists across the country and contributed to the development of new Canadian works.
Her dramaturgy credits include The Welkin, What the Constitution Means to Me, A Streetcar Named Desire, Yaga, Sexual Misconduct of the Middle Classes, and The Adventures of the Black Girl in Her Search for God.
In 2021, she received the Playwrights Guild of Canada’s Honorary Lifetime Membership Award.
