Sarah Wilson was born in Sudbury, Ontario. SOULPEPPER 2024: De Profundis: Oscar Wilde in Jail; Billie, Sarah & Ella: Revolutionary Women in Jazz. FOR SOULPEPPER: Sarah has written or co-written many concerts for Soulpepper, including The Golden Record; A Moveable Feast: Paris in the 1920s; The 27 Club; The Promised Land: Steinbeck in Song; Sympathy for the Devil (with Raha Javanfar); and Billie, Ella & Sarah (with Divine Brown). Her musical Rose, written with Mike Ross, won several Doras, including Best New Musical. As an actor, Sarah has performed in shows dating back to 2002. Highlights include La Bête, Animal Farm, The Heidi Chronicles, Oleanna, Speed-The-Plow, Awake and Sing!, As You Like It, Spoon River, Of Human Bondage, Three Sisters, Jitters, Travesties, Black Comedy & The Real Inspector Hound. ELSEWHERE: Sarah has acted at the Stratford Festival, Canadian Stage, Theatre Aquarius, and Thousand Islands Playhouse. She’s written several concerts for Harmony House in PEI.
