Veni Iozzo
Veni Iozzo spent over 35 years in financial services with a leading North American Bank, where she worked across personal banking, wealth management, commercial banking, product P&L and corporate office portfolios.
A transformational leader with more than four decades of industry experience, she has a track record of successfully balancing short-and long-term goals while driving performance and growth. Veni’s expertise spans distribution, sales, product management, marketing, communications, public affairs, digital, workplace transformation, and real estate. She is a collaborative leader, executive advisor, and board director committed to elevating the impact of organizations and people in the broader economy.
As a former global executive, Veni has led significant enterprise-wide initiatives, such as leadership of a workplace strategy which included the design, build, and consolidation of a new global headquarters, and a client segmentation strategy that effectively transformed personal banking to better serve the needs of clients through digital and high value propositions. Her experience spans oversight of multi-billion-dollar portfolios, repositioning legacy businesses for growth, and leading change initiatives that aligned culture, strategy, and operations at scale.Veni is an Advisory Board Member for Kruger Inc. and Special Advisor to CIBC.
In addition, to her professional achievements, she is a passionate philanthropist and community leader focused on health, education and art. Veni serves as Chair of Trillium Health Partners Foundation and Chair of the GTHA Community Board -Telus Friendly Future Foundation. She is a Director on the Board of Soulpepper Theatre and Trillium Health Partner Hospital Board and is a founding member of The Prosperity Project, focused on women’s economic participation.
Veni has an MBA from Royal Roads University, British Columbia and holds the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. She has received the extraordinary distinction of being inducted into the Hall of Fame of Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100(WXN) and recipient of the Distinguished Changemaker Alumni Achievement Award (RRU).
