From the creators of the smash-hit family musical Peter Pan comes a new adventure for all ages. Bad Hats Theatre’s contemporary spin on Wonderland takes us down the rabbit hole with Alice, a girl with a lot of questions. Get ‘curiouser and curiouser’ with a musical retelling of the classic tale that has captured imaginations for generations.

Help us reach our goal of inspiring young people across the country to stay curious. Classes are invited to book in to see the filmed family musical Alice in Wonderland until June 29, 2021.
Chose YOUR OWN DATE CLASS BOOKINGS – $80 / CLASS
Educators are invited to book tickets to see Alice in Wonderland at a date and time that works for their schedule. Your class will have access to the performance only on your requested date. If you would like to request a private talkback for your class, there will be a spot on the booking form the do so. A representative from the Education Department will be in touch with you.

How often do we let ourselves wonder? As children, we’re the experts at it. We wrestle openly with the oddities of the world, rolling the pieces of the things we know over in our minds, but we’re very soon told that everything has an answer, and a place, even us. So, where does all that wondering go? What happens when we stop being allowed to not know? I wanted to write a piece about leaning into the unknown, embracing the change that lives there, and believing that our greatest power lies in our curiosity.

Watching my two young boys try to understand the world right now makes me think about how important art and stories are to help us process and lift our spirits. Bad Hats Theatre’s Alice in Wonderland is a beautiful way to bring wonder back into not only our kids’ lives, but all of our lives, by looking at the world from another angle. I look forward to going on this journey with my children, and I hope everyone will join us in Wonderland.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: How do I pay?
A: Payment is through Credit Card only at this time. If your group has trouble with this, please email us.
Q: What if I want to book with multiple classes from one school.
A: Email us all the teacher’s names and email addresses (jacob.kay@soulpepper.ca). All classes will need their own link to access, but we can work out payment so it is altogether.
Q: How long is the Performance?
A: The Performance is around 90 minutes.
Q: How does the Talkback work? How long is it?
A: You will receive a link in your reminder email shortly before the performance for the Talkback. The talkback will be live and will be around 15-20 minutes long.
