Chiromancies x Copperbelt: Closing Reception & Artist Talk

Join Soulpepper Theatre to celebrate the run of the world premiere of Natasha Mumba’s Copperbelt and Moridja Kitenge Banza’s accompanying new work Chiromancie-hors-série. The special edition visual artwork was commissioned to respond to Mumba’s production and expands on Kitenge Banza’s ongoing cartographical series engaging with personal narratives and the broader geopolitical issues tied to displaced bodies, erased knowledge, fragmented lands, and extracted resources. 

Come celebrate the creative exchange between image and stage, and catch both artists in dialogue about the intersection of their practices.  

Open to all. Registration encouraged. Light refreshments will be served. Catch the evening performance of Copperbelt after the reception at 7:30pm.
