Annual Fundraiser

SIGNATURE SOULPEPPER

On Thursday, October 24th, Soulpepper welcomed over 300 guests to the Young Centre for the Performing Arts for its annual fundraiser, Signature Soulpepper. Playing on Soulpepper’s recent smash success A Streetcar Named Desire, the event was inspired by New Orleans and Mardi Gras and included rousing performances, flowing cocktails, dinner and a dessert reception with live music. Artistic Director, Weyni Mengesha and Executive Director, Emma Stenning are pleased to report the event raised over $619,000 for Soulpepper’s mission to present work of the highest artistic excellence, to share vital stories for today and to welcome all people, all voices from all communities, to engage with art both on- and off-stage.
